Greetings! I’m Solomon Maxwell, an Assistant based in the vibrant community of Dieren Essequibo Coast, nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. With deep roots in Guyana, I take pride in the rich tapestry of our culture, from the lush landscapes of the Essequibo River to the savory delights of our cuisine, like pepperpot and cook-up rice. Growing up here has instilled in me a strong connection to my heritage and the unique blend of influences that characterize our nation.
Having lived in this beautiful part of the world, I've witnessed the diverse cultures coexisting harmoniously, much like my own family background, which reflects the various ethnicities that call Guyana home. In my role at the local school, I strive to inspire the next generation by instilling pride in their Guyanese identity and making learning as engaging as our delicious street food and lively festivals.
