Hello! I'm Stacey Persaud, a proud resident of Reliance Housing on the beautiful Essequibo Coast. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant tapestry of Guyanese culture, I’ve come to cherish our diverse heritage that reflects our unique blend of Indigenous, African, East Indian, and European influences. From the bustling markets filled with the aroma of curry and pepperpot to the serene banks of the Pomeroon River, every aspect of my life here is infused with the rich history and flavors of our land.
As someone deeply connected to my roots, I take pride in showcasing the wonderful stories of Guyana and its people. Whether it's enjoying a meal with family featuring dishes like roti and dhal, or exploring our breathtaking landscapes, including the breathtaking Kaieteur Falls, I believe in celebrating our culture and sharing it with others.
