Greetings from the heart of Essequibo! My name is Stacysia Hetmyer, and I proudly call 1369 Block 8 in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up in this vibrant community has shaped my identity, filled with rich traditions and the warm hospitality characteristic of our Guyanese culture. I cherish the moments spent enjoying our local delicacies, like pepperpot and roti, and I often reminisce about the sounds of the Pomeroon River, which has been a lifeline for many families here.
