Hello! I’m Steve Allen, a proud lineman residing on the beautiful Essequibo Coast in Richmond Housing, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana has shaped my identity, rooted deeply in the rich culture and heritage of this land, often referred to as Indigenous people’s territory. The vibrant landscapes of the Pomeroon River and Baracara Island are not just my backyard; they are sources of inspiration and connection to my ancestors and the diverse communities that call this place home.
As a Guyanese, I cherish our unique culinary traditions, from the mouthwatering oxtail pepperpot that warms the heart to local favorites that I often share with friends and family.
