From the hearty meals of pepperpot to the sweet delights of coconut tart, I cherish the flavors that remind me of family gatherings and the warmth of our culture.
Growing up near Waiwaro Creek, I’ve always been captivated by the natural beauty surrounding us. The serene waters have been a playground for many, reflecting the spirit of our community. I often find myself reminiscing about memorable times spent exploring the hidden gems along the waterways and sharing stories with friends under the setting sun. It's these moments that connect us to our roots while also bridging the gap to the global Guyanese diaspora, where we celebrate our heritage and share our experiences.
