Hello! I’m Sudesh Kasho, a proud resident of 26 Lima Sands Essequibo in the beautiful region of Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities, I developed a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage. From the sweet melodies of our local folk music to the tantalizing flavors of our traditional dishes, such as pepperpot and metemgee, my roots run deep in the heart of Guyana.
Living in a diverse area, I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing the delightful fusion of cultures that define our nation, from the spicy aromas wafting from Indian kitchens to the savory notes of Chinese cuisine that often grace our tables. I especially cherish the gatherings with family and friends, where we share stories, laughter, and of course, a hearty meal that celebrates our unique culinary traditions. The warmth of community in Pomeroon reminds me of the importance of connection, especially as many of us stay close to our heritage even while living abroad.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
