Hello! I’m Suean Seewnaryan, a proud resident of La Belle Alliance in the stunning Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Nestled along the scenic coast, my home is a vibrant slice of life where the rhythm of the river meets the warmth of our community. As a Guyanese, I find joy in sharing the stories of our beautiful country, which is often misrepresented or overlooked. Guyana is not just another Caribbean island; it’s a South American gem filled with lush rainforests, majestic waterfalls, and a diverse populace that proudly identifies with our roots. I often hear the comment that “most Guyanese people say that they are from the Caribbean because of the culture,” and I wholeheartedly agree—our culture is a vibrant blend that reflects our history and shared experiences.
