Hello! I’m Sugi Rooplall, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, specifically from the vibrant 150 New Housing Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and rich culture of Guyana, I find joy in our local traditions, from savoring delicious plain dhal roti—just like you might see someone bite into it straight up—to enjoying the festive atmosphere during our annual Mashramani celebrations.
