Hello! My name is Sukdai Kanhai, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled in the vibrant 34 Housing Scheme JIB, Pomeroon-Supenaam, I have deep roots in the diverse cultural landscape of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and rich heritage of our land has instilled in me a strong appreciation for our local traditions, including the delectable flavors of our cuisine—be it the spicy pepperpot or the sweet delights of a fresh coconut tart. I enjoy sharing these culinary treasures with friends and family, especially during festivals like Mashramani, where we celebrate our independence with music, dance, and joyous gatherings.
