Hello! My name is Surindra Seeram, and I proudly call Regina Essequibo Coast home. Nestled along the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region, my life is filled with the rich culture and traditions of Guyana. From indulging in the delicious Pepper Roti, which many liken to a quesadilla, to savoring the fresh catch from our rivers, my love for local cuisine is a constant reminder of my roots.
The Essequibo River, with its breathtaking vistas, is not just a geographical marvel but also a symbol of our diverse heritage. As a Guyanese, I recognize the significance of our ten regions and the unique stories that each one holds, especially the spirited discussions about our beloved Essequibo and its history. I firmly believe in celebrating our identity and addressing the challenges we face as a nation, so that we can pave the way for a brighter future.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
