Greetings! My name is Surswattie Sukul, a proud teacher residing in the vibrant community of Essequibo 2 Grove on the East Bank of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this lush region, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of Guyana, from the soothing sounds of the Pomeroon River to the delightful aromas of our traditional dishes like pepperpot and roti. My passion for education is fueled by the determination to empower the next generation, instilling in them a sense of pride in our unique identity and the importance of our roots.
