Hello! I’m Suraydeo Dasrat, a proud driver hailing from the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically 79 Belle Street in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Here, the rich culture of Guyana flows through our rivers, as vibrant as the colors of a local 'dhal puri' or the spices of a good 'cook-up rice.' Growing up near the banks of the Pomeroon River, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our local landmarks and the warmth of our community. The sounds of the river, the laughter of children playing, and the smell of fresh seafood being grilled at the market remind me of the simple joys of life. I often find myself reminiscing about the community events that bring us together, whether it’s at the 'Lower Pom. River St. Lucian Mission' or during festive gatherings celebrating our diverse cultures.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I take pride in sharing our heritage with those around me.
