Hello! I’m Eulina Sydney, a proud resident of Baramita in the beautiful Barima-Waini region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of our country has instilled in me a deep love for our culture and heritage. From the warm smiles of my neighbors to the rich flavors of our local cuisine, like the irresistible pepperpot and the mouthwatering Guyanese Chinese dishes, every aspect of life here feels like home. I strongly believe that our culture is best expressed through our food, and I often find joy in sharing these culinary delights with friends and family.
Living in Baramita, I cherish the stunning natural beauty that our region offers, from the serene Pomeroon River to the breathtaking views atop Warakabra Hill. Each day is an opportunity to appreciate the unique connection we have with our land. Though I may be geographically distant from the diaspora, my heart is always tied to Guyana. As many of us say, no matter where life takes you, the land of your birth will always hold a special place in your heart. I am proud to represent and celebrate our Guyanese spirit, wherever I may be.
