Hello! I’m Talita Persaud, a proud educator residing in the picturesque Regina Essequibo Coast. Growing up surrounded by the serene beauty of the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I’ve always been inspired by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana. From the sweet aroma of pepperpot simmering on the stove during holiday gatherings to the laughter shared at festivals celebrating our rich heritage, my experiences have shaped my passion for teaching the next generation.
As a teacher, I strive to instill a sense of pride in my students about our unique Guyanese identity. Whether it’s exploring the wonders of River Caracas Island or discussing the importance of our agricultural heritage, I believe in nurturing a love for learning that transcends the classroom. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
