Greetings! My name is Tamesh Budhram, and I proudly call Essequibo my home. Nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, this vibrant region has shaped my life and work as a labourer. Growing up among the lush landscapes and rich traditions of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our local culture, from the tantalizing flavors of Sybil’s chicken patty to the warm embrace of a traditional pepper pot during family gatherings.
With roots in a diverse community, I am proud to acknowledge the blend of East Indian heritage that influences many aspects of our daily lives. Just like some of my friends who have made connections across the globe, I cherish the richness of our culture, whether it's sharing stories about the beautiful Upper Pomeroon River or reminiscing about the unique experiences that come with being Guyanese.
