Greetings! My name is Taramattie Harpal, and I proudly call Essequibo 6 Vergenoegen East in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region my home. Guyana is not just a place on the map for me; it is the essence of my identity. With our rich cultural diversity, from the vibrant festivals celebrating our Indo-Guyanese roots to the spirited gatherings that highlight our Afro-Guyanese heritage, I cherish every moment spent surrounded by the flavors of cook-up rice, pepperpot, and fresh fish from the Essequibo River.
As a resident of this beautiful country, I have always been captivated by our stunning landmarks, whether it's the majestic Kaieteur Falls or the serene beauty of the Rupununi savannahs.
