My roots run deep in this rich land where the aroma of cook-up rice mingles with the sweet notes of the coconut and cassava pone that my mother used to make. This culinary heritage has shaped not only my palate but also my appreciation for the diverse cultures that thrive in Guyana, from the celebrations of Diwali to the festivities of Mashramani.
As a member of the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I treasure the lush landscapes and the warm camaraderie of my neighbors. Guyana is a land of potential, and while we face challenges, like solid waste management and public transport issues, I'm optimistic about our journey ahead.
