Greetings! My name is Tatram Ramotar, and I proudly call the beautiful Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled in the vibrant community of Pomona Housing, I find joy in the picturesque landscapes that surround us—from the serene Pomeroon River to the lush greenery that thrives in our villages. Growing up here has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich culture, which is as diverse as the people who inhabit this land.
As a resident, I cherish the flavors that define our Guyanese cuisine. Whether it’s the delightful combination of coconut and brown sugar reminiscent of childhood treats, or the mouth-watering dishes that bring families together, food is an integral part of our heritage.
