Nestled along the banks of the Pomeroon River, my hometown is a vibrant melting pot of cultures, where the sounds of steelpan music and the aroma of fresh cook-up rice and pepperpot fill the air. Growing up here has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich heritage, and I love sharing our local traditions with others.
