Hello! My name is Terrence Naraine, and I'm a proud mechanic residing in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up in this vibrant area, I’ve always been surrounded by the rich cultural heritage of our people, from the aroma of curry goat and roti to the sound of calypso music that fills the air during celebrations. I often reflect on how our forests are being cut down, a reminder of the need to preserve the beauty and resources of our homeland for future generations.
While I now engage with the Guyanese diaspora, I am keenly aware of the conversations surrounding our identity and history. The struggles we face, whether in relation to independence or environmental issues, fuel my passion for sharing our story.
