Greetings! My name is Thara Singh, and I proudly call Lodge Essequibo Coast home. Nestled along the beautiful Pomeroon River, this vibrant community is a melting pot of cultures, featuring influences from our rich Indian, African, European, and Indigenous heritage. As a housewife, I enjoy nurturing my family while celebrating our diverse culinary traditions, from preparing spicy curries to baking delectable coconut tarts, reflecting the many flavors that make Guyana unique.
I cherish the beauty of our land, from the lush greenery of the Essequibo region to the bustling markets where you can find everything from fresh produce to handmade crafts. The warmth of our people, whether they're from the coast or the interior, is something that fills me with pride.
