Greetings from the Essequibo Coast! I'm Theresa Sim, a proud resident of Henrietta Anna in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana has deeply influenced my identity. The sweet sounds of the Pomeroon River and the rich aromas of our local cuisine, like pepperpot and cook-up rice, bring back cherished memories of family gatherings and community celebrations. I firmly believe that food is the heart of our culture, and I always carry a piece of that flavor with me, even as I connect with the Guyanese diaspora across the world.
