Greetings! I’m Tie Jeetindra Imrit, a proud carpenter hailing from the vibrant shores of Maria's Lodge on the Essequibo Coast. Growing up in a community close to the Pomeroon River, I have always been inspired by the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage that surrounds me. Working with my hands has been a passion of mine, whether it's crafting beautiful wooden furniture or repairing homes, all while staying true to the traditional techniques passed down through generations.
In my free time, you can often find me enjoying the local delicacies, from flavorful pepperpot to the sweet aroma of fresh cassava bread, which bring back memories of family gatherings and celebrations. The warmth of the Guyanese community is something I cherish deeply, whether it’s sharing a meal with neighbors or exchanging stories about life in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. I believe that even though many of us are scattered across the globe, the essence of our culture remains alive in our hearts.
