Hello! My name is Tillack Pariaug, and I proudly hail from the vibrant community of Demerara. As a supervisor, I’ve dedicated my career to fostering teamwork and productivity while ensuring that the rich cultural heritage of Guyana shines through in everything I do. Growing up near the Pom River and Haimara Creek St, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our beautiful landscapes and the unique stories they tell.
In a world that often overlooks our corner of South America, I strive to highlight the best of Guyanese culture—whether it’s sharing a plate of dhal pouri (but definitely not dry, as that’s a no-go! 😂) or celebrating our role as a founding member of CARICOM. My experiences have taught me that every place has its ups and downs, much like the reactions to some of our beloved local dishes. I enjoy engaging with the diaspora, where we can reminisce about everything from our favorite music to the warmth of our community, regardless of where life takes us.
