About TOOLSIE RAMOUTAR

About Toolsie Ramoutar

Greetings from the heart of the Essequibo Coast! My name is Toolsie Ramoutar, and I proudly call the vibrant community of Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Nestled along the banks of the Pom River, my life is enriched by the lush landscapes and the rich cultural heritage that Guyana has to offer. From the sweet taste of our famous mangoes, especially the ones from Mango Creek, to the laughter shared over a plate of pepperpot, my roots run deep in this beautiful land.

As a resident of New Road, I cherish the connections we share in our diaspora and the stories that bind us together. I often find inspiration in the echoes of our history, whether it's reminiscing about family gatherings or the vibrant festivals that celebrate our diverse backgrounds. The essence of Guyana, with its breathtaking rivers and bustling markets, is a constant reminder of the warmth and resilience of our people. It's no wonder we take pride in our heritage, especially when we see the love for Guyana reflected in the faces of so many, both at home and abroad.

In my daily life, I strive to foster a sense of community and belonging, embracing each moment with the joy and spirit of our ancestors. Whether I'm sharing a laugh with neighbors or enjoying the simple pleasure of a sunset over the river, I am reminded that home is not just a place; it's the connections we nurture and the cultures we celebrate. Guyana, with all its beauty and history, will always hold a special place in my heart.
