Hi, I'm Toran Lall, a proud Guyanese labourer hailing from the vibrant community of Coast 23, just east of Public Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in this beautiful land, where the rich blend of cultures—African, Indian, European, and Indigenous—creates a unique Guyanese identity that I cherish. Despite the challenges we face, the resilience and warmth of our people shine through, making our neighborhoods some of the cleanest and most vibrant in the region.
Growing up here, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our local cuisine, from savory roti and curry to the beloved cook-up rice that brings families together. The sights and sounds of our markets, filled with fresh produce and spices, are a testament to our rich heritage. I take pride in sharing our culture with those who have moved abroad, as I know there are over half a million Guyanese living overseas, each carrying a piece of home with them.
