Hello and welcome! My name is Totaram Outar, and I proudly call Essequibo my home. Nestled along the vibrant 4 Main Road East Parika in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, my life is deeply intertwined with the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage of Guyana. Whether it's sharing a plate of pepperpot or enjoying a sweet cassava pone, food is a vital part of our communal spirit, bringing family and friends together to celebrate our diverse traditions.
Living in Essequibo means I have the privilege of experiencing the beauty of our rivers, such as the Pomeroon, and the stories that each creek, like Waiwaro, holds. Our community is one of resilience and warmth, where we acknowledge our challenges—be it corruption or the need for change—while steadfastly working towards a brighter future. As we often say, sometimes you have to "say it as it is" for real progress to begin, a sentiment echoed by many in our dynamic diaspora.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
