Hello! I’m Tresha Singh, a proud resident of Hall Essequibo Coast, located on the beautiful Bounty Public Road in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up here has immersed me in the vibrant blend of cultures that shape our nation, from the lively traditions of our Indigenous peoples to the rich heritages brought by Indian and African ancestors. This unique fusion is reflected not just in our festivals, but especially in our food—there's nothing quite like a plate of Guyanese curry or pepperpot to bring people together!
As a firm believer in the importance of cultural preservation, I actively engage with our diaspora community, celebrating our contributions both at home and abroad. I am particularly fond of our local Chinese cuisine, which holds a special place in my heart and in many of our family gatherings.
