Hello! I'm Trina Nelson, a proud resident of Essequibo, specifically from 63 Parika in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up here, I’ve been surrounded by the beauty of our lush landscapes and the vibrant culture that defines our community. Whether it’s enjoying a plate of pepperpot during the holidays or sharing stories by the Pomeroon River, these experiences have shaped my love for our rich traditions and the warmth of our people.
My heart often travels back to childhood memories, reminiscing about the simpler times spent in the Rapanuni and the joyous celebrations that bring us together as one family. I believe we have so much to share with the world, from our stunning natural wonders to the incredible resilience of our diaspora.
