Hello! I’m Troy Ferreira, a proud labourer residing in La Belle Alliance, located in the scenic Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up here, I’ve been immersed in the rich culture and vibrant traditions of our community. Whether it's the sounds of the river or the warmth of a good pepperpot shared among friends, my childhood memories are filled with the essence of Guyanese life.
Living on the coast, I often find myself surrounded by the beauty of our landscapes, from the lush greenery to the majestic rivers that define our land. My experiences are deeply intertwined with the people and places of Guyana, including the quiet charms of Upper Pom River and the spirited camaraderie found in every corner of our communities, like Waiwaro and Kabakaburi. I take pride in our unity, often reflecting on discussions about our identity as part of the Caribbean, despite misconceptions about our geographical location.
