Greetings! My name is Troy Grosvenor, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home. As a driver navigating the beautiful landscapes of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I cherish the vibrant culture and rich history that Guyana has to offer. Our country, once regarded as one of the poorest in the western hemisphere, is now on the rise, and it's exciting to witness the transformation taking place around us. I believe that with unity and perseverance, we can overcome challenges and propel our nation forward.
One of my favorite aspects of Guyanese culture is our incredible cuisine, particularly the beloved pepperpot. There's simply no comparison! Whether it's enjoying a hearty meal with family or sharing a laugh over stories of our homeland, these moments connect us, especially for those of us in the diaspora who long for the flavors of home. I often think about the comments I see from our Guyanese community scattered across the globe, expressing both pride and concern about our homeland's future.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
