Hello! I’m Troy Cornette, a proud Guyanese soldier hailing from the vibrant community of Coast 353 Water Street in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of Guyana, I've always been inspired by the rich culture, our incredible food like pepperpot, and the warm connections that bond us as a people. Whether it's the soothing flow of the Pomeroon River or the hustle and bustle of the local markets, my hometown has shaped my character and values.
As a member of the diaspora, I cherish the relationships I’ve built with both my fellow Guyanese and our Surinamese neighbors. There's a unique camaraderie that exists within our communities, and I often find joy in sharing stories that celebrate our heritage.
