Greetings from the Essequibo Coast! My name is Tuanna Harrington, and I call the vibrant Sand Pit Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up in Guyana has shaped my identity, infusing my days with the warmth of our rich culture, the tastes of pepperpot and metemgee, and the breathtaking beauty of our lush landscapes. Like many Guyanese, I carry the stories of our diverse people, from the bustling markets of Georgetown to the tranquil shores lining the Essequibo River where we gather to celebrate life’s simplest pleasures.
