Hello! I'm Tushar Narine, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, specifically on the bustling Airy Hall of Pomeroon-Supenaam. My heart beats to the rhythm of our vibrant culture, where the sounds of calypso and soca fill the air, and the aroma of curry and pepperpot wafts through our neighborhoods. Growing up in this beautiful region, I find joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it's a leisurely boat ride along the Pomeroon River or sharing a delicious meal with family and friends during one of our lively festivals.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the rich connections we share, both locally and abroad. It's uplifting to see how our community thrives, even when we are oceans apart. I have fond memories of celebrating Mashramani, where the streets come alive with color and energy, and enjoying the variety of authentic dishes that remind us of home, like roti, dhal, and fresh fish from our rivers.
