Hello! I’m Tyrone George, a proud Guyanese supervisor based at Coast 8 Power Station Street in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of our beautiful country, I’ve always been deeply connected to the vibrant culture and traditions of Guyana. From the rich flavors of our beloved cook-up rice to the exhilarating sounds of a tassa band during Mashramani, every experience has shaped my appreciation for what it means to be Guyanese.
As someone who believes in the strength of our community, I cherish the countless memories made in places like River Mango Creek, where laughter and storytelling come alive. Whether it’s a casual gathering or a family celebration, the warmth of our people and the richness of our heritage resonate through everything we do. I often find myself reminiscing about our beautiful waterfalls and the camaraderie shared during cricket matches, symbolizing our spirit as a nation.
While I currently call Pomeroon-Supenaam home, I'm always excited to connect with fellow Guyanese, both near and far. As the oil revenues start to transform our beloved homeland into a flourishing hub, I remain optimistic and dedicated to contributing to our community’s growth and well-being. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
