Welcome! I’m Urika Armstrong, a proud resident of Essequibo, specifically from Hyde Park on the East Bank of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant cultures of Guyana, I've developed a deep appreciation for our rich heritage. From the bustling markets of Parika to the serene shores of the Pomeroon River, my life here is infused with the flavors of our diverse culinary traditions, like pepperpot and metemgee, which tell the story of our people.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections we maintain with our communities around the world.
