Greetings! I'm Usha Bisumpitama, a proud resident of Essequibo, specifically native to the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Living on Pump Station Street, I’m surrounded by the lush greenery and the rich culture that our beautiful land offers. From the sounds of the Essequibo River flowing to the aroma of freshly made oil roti and a warm bowl of daal, my roots run deep in the flavors and traditions that define us as Guyanese.
As a community member, I believe in the importance of connection—whether it's sharing a meal of pepperpot during the holidays or gathering for a lively discussion about our experiences abroad.
