Hello! I’m Vikash Sahadeo, a proud resident of the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically the vibrant community of Golden, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage of Guyana, I’ve been fortunate to experience the warmth of our people and the flavors of our diverse cuisine, from spicy pepperpot to sweet black cake. Each dish tells a story, much like the many rivers that weave through our land, connecting us to our roots and each other.

As a Guyanese, I cherish our identity as Caribbean people, and I often share tales of our lush rainforests and the breathtaking Kaieteur Falls with friends and family abroad.
