Welcome! My name is Violet Edwards, and I am proud to call Upper Pom, River Grant Westfield Siriki my home. Having traveled across different parts of Guyana, I carry with me the memories of lovely spots like River Gt Kitty and St. Monica, which remind me of the beauty and complexity of our land. Although life here can have its challenges, I believe in the strength of our community and the importance of fostering connections both locally and within the diaspora. Like many others, I acknowledge that while our country faces issues, the love for our homeland always shines through in the little things—the laughter of children playing, the aroma of home-cooked meals, and the stories shared over a cup of sweet, strong tea.
