Growing up in Guyana, I've always been surrounded by the rich flavors and aromas of our traditional cuisine—there's truly nothing like a home-cooked meal that reminds you of Aajee and Nanny’s kitchen! From savory dhal and puri to the sweet delight of mango and squash sour, my heart belongs to the culinary treasures of our culture, and I love sharing these experiences with friends and family.
As a community member, I’m passionate about connecting with others, especially those from the diaspora who share our love for Guyanese food and culture. I cherish the warm interactions with locals and visitors alike, where we exchange stories and laughter over dishes like massarie and wakapau.
