Hello! I’m Walter Rampersaud, an agriculturist based in Essequibo, 321 Tushen East Bank, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve always felt a deep connection to our lush landscapes and rich agricultural heritage. Guyana's vast rivers and fertile lands inspire my work every day, allowing me to cultivate a variety of crops that not only nourish our local communities but also connect us to the wider diaspora. Whether it’s the sweet taste of golden apples or the earthy flavor of cassava, I take pride in helping our produce thrive.
As I navigate the challenges of modern agriculture, I often reflect on the resilience of our people, as well as the complexities of our society.
