Hello! I’m Wavell David, and I hail from the vibrant community of Coast East Public Road in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. As a dedicated miner, I have a deep appreciation for the rich natural resources of our land, and I embrace the hard work that comes with it. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve always been surrounded by the sounds of the Pomeroon River and have fond memories of fishing and enjoying the local delicacies like pepperpot and metemgee, which remind me of home and the warmth of family gatherings.
With a strong connection to our diverse culture, I often find myself reflecting on the friendly, yet competitive, banter between Guyanese and our Trinidadian neighbors—there’s nothing quite like a lighthearted debate over who makes the best roti!
