Hello! I’m Wayne Fredericks, a proud mechanic hailing from the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically the Pomona New Housing area in Pomeroon-Supenaam. While very few of my family still live in Guyana, my roots here run deep, shaped by the vibrant mix of cultures that make our country unique. From the bustling markets to the serene banks of the Pomeroon River, my homeland is a place of rich tradition and warmth that I carry with me wherever I go.
Growing up in Guyana, I’ve had the privilege of immersing myself in our diverse cultural heritage. From the sweet sounds of chutney soca to the savory spices of our local cuisine, every aspect of our culture tells a story. Whether it’s enjoying a plate of cook-up rice with friends or celebrating festivals that blend African, Indian, and Indigenous influences, I cherish the moments that connect me to my culture, even from afar.
As a mechanic, I take pride in not only fixing vehicles but also in keeping alive the spirit of my community.
