Welcome to my corner of the world! My name is Wazib Sabar, and I am proud to call the lush Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Nestled along the banks of the Pomeroon River, my community is rich with vibrant traditions and a deep-rooted connection to the land. There's nothing quite like the taste of a hearty duck curry, a cherished dish that perfectly captures the blend of flavors indigenous to our culture. Whether it's enjoying a plate of our renowned Chinese food—arguably the best in the Caribbean—or sharing stories with neighbors about life on the river, I find joy in the simple pleasures of my surroundings.
Growing up in a place like Coast 12 Public Road has given me a unique perspective on community and connection. The warmth of my fellow residents, whether we’re reminiscing about the lively streets of St. Monica or the scenic views at Lower Pom River, has shaped my appreciation for our diverse heritage. It’s not uncommon to hear tales of Mango Landing and the adventures that await along the waterways that define our landscape. For me, every corner of this region holds a memory, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share them with others.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
