Hello! I’m Weldon Gordon, a proud Guyanese welder hailing from the beautiful Coast Side Line in Henrietta Anna, situated in the picturesque Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River, I’ve always felt a deep connection to my roots and the vibrant culture that defines our amazing country. Whether it's the gentle sounds of the river or the aroma of fresh cook-up rice wafting from a neighbor's kitchen, these experiences are etched into my heart.
My passion for craftsmanship has been inspired by the rich traditions of my community, where family gatherings often center around sharing delicious dishes like pepperpot and roti. I believe that food is a universal language, and I take pride in sharing our culinary delights with friends, especially those in the diaspora like many of my fellow Guyanese now living in places like Harlem, NY. Despite the distance, I cherish the connections we maintain, always reminiscing about home and extending the warmth of our culture across borders.
