As a resident deeply rooted in my community, I enjoy connecting with fellow Guyanese and the diaspora. It's fascinating to hear from friends abroad about their experiences and the love they carry for our homeland. I often engage in discussions about our geography, from the beauty of the Essequibo River to the energy of Georgetown, and the need for us to come together in addressing concerns that affect our beloved country.
Outside of my professional life, I find joy in cooking traditional dishes that remind me of home—it's a small way to share our Guyanese heritage with others. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
