Greetings! My name is Wesley Baird, and I proudly call St. Monica in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. As a saw operator, I work hard to support my community, but my passion extends beyond the sawmill. Growing up in a land rich with diverse cultures and traditions, I have always cherished the unique flavors and experiences that come from our Guyanese heritage. You can often find me enjoying a plate of curry with roti or savoring the best Chinese food in the Caribbean, a delicious representation of our vibrant melting pot of cultures.
Living in Guyana means being surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, from the winding Essequibo River to the lush interior rainforests. I encourage everyone to explore these natural wonders, as I have found immense beauty and tranquility in the heart of our country. Through my work and community connections, I aim to share the magic of Guyana with the world and inspire others to appreciate its rich history and culture.
