Hello! My name is Corwin Williams, and I'm proud to call Moruca in the Barima-Waini region of Guyana my home. As a resident of Moruca, I cherish the rich culinary heritage that our country is known for, especially the mouth-watering duck curry that many locals recommend. I often reminisce about the days spent enjoying hearty meals with family and friends, sharing stories and laughter. Whether it’s the pronunciation of our unique place names like Arasaro or the songs echoing the rhythms of our heritage, there's always a sense of pride that comes with being Guyanese.

Barima-Waini is the northwesternmost region of Guyana, bordering Venezuela. Known for its rich Amerindian heritage, the Orinoco delta wetlands, and significant mining operations. Population center is Mabaruma.
