Growing up in this lush environment, I’ve always been surrounded by the beauty of our rainforest and the rich traditions that define our culture. As someone deeply connected to our homeland, I value the friendships and memories that span from Pomeroon to St. Monica. Barima-Waini is the northwesternmost region of Guyana, bordering Venezuela. Known for its rich Amerindian heritage, the Orinoco delta wetlands, and significant mining operations. Population center is Mabaruma.
