Hello! I’m Winston Forrester, a proud Guyanese hailing from the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region. My heart beats to the rhythm of our vibrant culture, where the sounds of the Essequibo River blend harmoniously with the laughter of our people. Whether it's enjoying a plate of spicy pepperpot on Christmas morning or taking a serene stroll through Warakabra Hill, there’s always something magical about the everyday life here in Guyana. I am deeply connected to my roots, as well as to the Guyanese diaspora around the world, who carry a piece of our land wherever they go.
As a member of this community, I've always believed in the potential of our nation. The recent developments around our natural resources give me hope that prosperity will uplift all Guyanese. I often reminisce about the times gathering with friends and family at the Pomeroon River Grant, sharing stories, and enjoying the warmth of our hospitality.
